Umzinyathi Cluster Medal Parade honours hard working police officers

The day was filled with song and praise from the SAPS band and Polmusca choir.

The South African Police Services honoured police station commissioners for their hard work and dedication in helping reduce crime in their areas.

The following stations received awards Dundee, Nhlanhleni, Newdale, Nondweni, Wasbank, Nquthu and Greytown.Mrs Hadebe, the Deputy General Commissioner of KZN cited that ” we take pride in recognising hard work and give credit where it is due”.

Lieutenant Colonel Hennie Botha was also awarded for his hard work in the police force as this was his last award ceremony. Lt Colonel Botha is retiring next week after an exemplary career in the police force, he has worked there for 41 years. “I will miss my colleagues as we have shared so many memories over the years,” he said. The day was filled with song and praise from the SAPS band and Polmusca choir.
