Ncome Management dominate Funda Mzansi Championship
Of the nine offenders, four excelled, landing themselves a spot in the National Championships.
Three offenders from Ncome Management participated in the National Funda Mzansi Championships, which took place in George in the Southern Cape on October 2.
The first part of the competition was held during the KZN Regionals at Westville Correctional Centre in Durban on September 20, where nine of Ncome’s offenders participated against offenders from Kokstad, Glencoe, Waterval, Westville, Pietermaritzburg and Empangeni.
Of the nine offenders, four excelled, landing themselves a spot in the National Championships.
It was here where Thokozani Zulu and Craig Crawford won first place awards for Afrikaans and English Reviewing, as well as Afrikaans Debate.
Nkululeko Mtshali won second place for Isizulu Reading and Dejandra Singh won third place in the National Spelling Bee.
Ncome Management Acting Manager, W.M Shabalala said the achievements that were made during the competition was a good way to welcome back Area Commissioner, L.J Zikhali.
Zikhali thanked Mrs Booysen, Mr Mthembu, Mr Naidoo, Mrs Naidoo and Mrs Madi for helping the offenders with training prior to the competitions. He also congratulated all the participants on their hard work and achievements.
