GALLERY: Gospel singer delivers a message of hope
Dewald performed a number of classic Christian songs and hymns, and was later joined on stage by the Hallelujah Dancers from Johannesburg, who performed with cymbals and flags.
Gospel singer, Dewald Gouws put on a great show in Newcastle on Sunday night.
Polokwane-born Gouws performed to hundreds of eager congregants and guests at Grace Park Community Church.
No entrance fee was charged.
However, a collection was taken during the course of the evening, with the proceeds donated to Dewald’s ministry.
He was also hosted by residents for the duration of his visit.
Taking the stage on Sunday, Dewald said he had prayed for the audience en route to Grace Park, that those who were broken and in need of spiritual healing would be present.
He also expressed hope they would accept his words and songs.
