Golfers take to the greens at Newcastle Club Sponsored Golf Day
Golfers gathered at the sports club as the day drew to an end, and the winners of the day were announced as follows:
Golfers from Newcastle and surrounding areas came together for a friendly competition in the Newcastle Club Sponsored Golf Day, which took place at Kilbarchan Golf Club on Saturday, February 24.
Warm weather and clear blue skies gave each competitor an equal chance to play an excellent game, as they competed for the number one spot.

First place: Karel Swanepoel and Pierre Uys.
Second place: Eddie and Sakkie van der Merwe.
Third place: Hannes Liebenberg Junior and Ben Chowles.
Fourth place: Tony Sharp and Jeff Fenton.
Fifth place: Roy and Yunus.
Sixth place: Avan Singh and Ashwin Harilal.
Seventh place: Riaan Joubert and Arthur Maartens.
Eighth place: Sias Weyers and Lukas Meyer.
Ninth place: Rama and Kama.
Tenth place: Tibela and SP Sigh.
