GALLERY: Pregnant fairies get a firsthand look into child birth

Guest speaker, Anaesthetist Specialist Doctor Regina Hurley, discussed topics such as antenatal classes as well as the myths and facts of anaesthetic and pain relief during pregnancy and labour.

Newcastle Mediclinic was abuzz as pregnant women came together for a fun-filled and informative pregnancy seminar on Saturday, February 24.

Guest speaker, Anaesthetist Specialist Doctor Regina Hurley, discussed topics such as antenatal classes as well as the myths and facts of anaesthetic and pain relief during pregnancy and labour.

Afterwards, she interacted with guests in attendance by answering any questions the pregnant moms-to-be had regarding childbirth.

Guests were also kept entertained with fun games and demonstrations, preparing them for the big arrival of their little ones.

Once the formalities were out of the way, guests indulged in light snacks and a variety of sweet treats.
