GALLERY: Hikeobics enthusiasts trek in Sediba

Hikers were encouraged to celebrate their heritage and cultures.

Hiking enthusiasts embarked on a 19 kilometre trek in Sediba, Mpumalanga and Free State on September 28.
The theme was ‘Heritage’, which tied into Heritage Month.

Hikers were encouraged to celebrate their heritage and cultures. Hikeobics founder, Tsebiso Maruping said the hikers enjoyed the coming of spring: “We wanted to celebrate our different cultures by hiking and sharing stories of how different we are, while also welcoming spring.

“This was great because it was done while we were working out. What was also good is that for the first time, we went outside NKZN and experienced a different hiking trail, as to what we’re normally used to in the province.”
