A tasty vegetarian lunch for 200 was distributed at both the boys’ and girls’ dormitories at the hostel. And that was not all, as 108 party packs were distributed among the learners.
The ‘feed’ was done in loving memory of one of the founding members of Food for Life Estcourt, Paramdham Das, who passed away last year.

Ever since then, members strive to emulate him by distributing to those in need.

He was fondly remembered for working tirelessly to eradicate hunger in Estcourt, especially among children. He lived to see children smile.

With that said, heartwarming smiles welcomed the team upon their arrival at the school.

To express their gratitude, the learners broke out in song, singing “Thank you, baie dankie”.
