K-Young team crowned netball champions

Eight teams went head-to-head for top honours in the competition

The Willies Mchunu Tournament finals were played on Sunday (July 9), which saw the K-Young team crowned as netball champions.

The games were held in the Embuzweni area of Peacetown, starting on June 18.

Eight netball teams took part in the competition.

The top three were as follows: K-Young – champions, Jaguars – runners-up, and Girlfriends – third.

The K-Young team walked away with a whopping R5000 cheque, with the runners-up winning R2000.
