One of the greatest things about parkrun is that no matter whether you are a runner or a walker, whether you are super-fast or super slow, you will never finish last. There is always a friendly volunteer tail-walker or two at the back of the pack to ensure that everyone is accounted for at the end of the event. Thank you to Pottie and Ruth for volunteering as tail-walkers. You are two in a million! On Saturday, Parkrun South Africa will be celebrating the one-millionth unique participant in the country, using the slogan ‘I am one in a million’. Personal best times were set by Elizma, Lizelle and André over the weekend. Newcomers to the parkrun family were Daleen, Sebastian and JJ.
Come and join parkrun at 07:00 this coming Saturday for the one-millionth unique event, where you too can be part of the one-in-a-million celebrations.
