A Bedazzle Fashion Show was hosted last week Wednesday as an opportunity for upliftment of the youth.
Organiser, Mbali Dlamini (16) from Newcastle High School, described the event as a clean way for the youth to have fun.
“You do not have to be a specific build or colour, you are beautiful as you are,” she explained.
“I wanted those who participated to showcase this and they did a brilliant job.”
The event took place at the Montevista Conference Centre in Barry Hertzog Park and was elegantly decked out in support of those who attended.
Funds raised at the event will be equally divided between NHS and Miss Dlamini’s charity of choice.
“Follow your dreams, make it happen. Inspire other people and have fun while doing it,” she concluded.
