The annual Inter-House Athletics meeting was held at Weenenprimêr at the end of last term and from the first event to the last a titanic struggle was witnessed. Pupils were very neatly turned out in their green and red house T-shirts and everyone represented Kudu and Eland with great zeal.

A highly competitive spirit prevailed and hurdles were introduced as additional events.

The ding-dong battle for “bragging rights” continued throughout the meeting with every athlete giving of their very best all the time. After an exhausting time – both physically and emotionally- Eland ended up the championship house by a mere 11 points.

Craig Ngwenya was the Junior Victor Ludorum; Kusasalethu Khoza was the Junior Victrix Ludorum; Andiswa Khanyeza was the Senior Victor Ludorum and Nompilo Mbatha was the Senior Victrix Ludorum. Well done to all of them.
