Fishing
During the holidays five boys represented KZN to fish against Gauteng at Leeuplaas on the Vaal Dam. After a cold morning and some snow, both junior A and B teams came second, with Brandon Halforty receiving two trophies. The following learners were awarded trophies: Brandon Halforty, Mikaile Nanan, Reuben Kenchenten, Ashley Laloo and Dewald Wait.
O/15 krieket
Hoërskool Dundee se O/15 krieketspan het Woensdag Oktober 2 gasheer gespeel vir hul ligabepaling teen Ladysmith se O/15s. Hoërskool Dundee kon in hul kolfbeurt dit regkry om 110 lopies op die telbord te sit, en het uiteindelik Ladysmith vir 108 uitgeboul. ‘n Naelskraap-oorwinning vir Hoërskool Dundee beteken dat hul nog steeds onoorwonne in die liga is. Uitblinkers met die bal was Akeel Singh en met die kolf Saif Ince.
1ste krieketspan
Hoërskool Dundee se 1ste krieketspan het Woensdag Oktober 2 na Ladysmith gereis om Ladysmith se 1ste krieketspan die stryd aan te sê. Ongelukkig kon die seuns nie die knop deurhaak nie, maar het tog goeie krieket onder die omstandighede gespeel.
Expo
Dundee High School had learners representing the school at the International Science Fair, held in Randburg during the holidays. DHS is very proud of their two learners, who achieved silver medals for their Expo projects. Wandile Khumalo and Sadiyah Malek, along with all the other Expo participants from DHS, really put in an enormous amount of hard work on their projects. Thank you to all who made this opportunity possible for these Expo learners, especially Mrs Haschke and Mr Visser, and to Eskom for lighting the way.

Prize-giving
The annual DHS prize-giving will be held on October 17 at 7pm, and parents are welcome to attend and support their children receiving awards. Seat bookings for the evening may not be made by learners, but must be made in person pl
