At the end of last term, Aletheia Christian College held its first school concert. Aletheia is a school based on Christian principles and following the ACE Christian curriculum so it seemed an obvious choice to do a concert based on scripture.
John 9:3-6 was chosen, relating how Jesus sent out His disciples to preach the Good News. They were told not to take anything extra with them but to trust in God’s provision. The concert concentrated on all the excuses we have to not spread the Gospel: our love for clothing, food, money, cellphones and gadgets.
The concert was a huge success and the pupils have already voiced their desire to make it an annual event. The principal and administrator would like to thank all pupils and parents for their support. The school’s next event was the “Wieletjiesdag” held at Deo Victoria Pre-School on October 19.
