Sizameleni Combined School was officially launched as a Health Promoting School on Thursday, November 14.

The school was awarded a certificate, which was signed by the MEC of Health Dr Sibongiseni Dlomo. The Loskloy community members came in large numbers to witness the occasion. Teachers were awarded certificates of appreciation for their hard work. Mbuzeleni Mkhize, Imbabazane Municipality Deputy Mayor who was also present congratulated the educators and advised the learners to respect their teachers.

School Principal Mr Zweli said: “This status belongs to all the community of Locksloy, Estcourt, uThukela as well KwaZulu-Natal. Thank you to the Health Department for facilitating this event”
