If you’ve spotted these brightly dressed, official looking individuals at seemingly random intersections in town and wondered what purpose they may be serving, here’s your answer… They have been designated to certain intersections to count cars for the Zululand District Municipality to ascertain what type of roadworks need to be done and where they need to be done, for example, widening of roads or installation of traffic lights.
