Lenmed La Verna Private Hospital staff held Heritage Day celebrations today (September 23) by embracing the rich cultural traditions of South Africa. They all dressed up in traditional attire as part of the occasion.

Colour, culture and spirit of unity

Although Heritage Day is officially observed as a public holiday on September 24, the staff at the hospital chose to celebrate a day earlier, bringing colour, culture and a spirit of unity to the workplace.

The employees proudly wore traditional clothing representing different South African cultures, creating a vibrant display of the country’s diverse heritage.

The celebration provided an opportunity for the staff to honour their roots, share their cultural traditions and celebrate the diversity that exists within the hospital community.

More than a public holiday

Lenmed La Verna Private Hospital said it believes that health and healing are deeply connected to the communities it serves. The hospital added that it proudly celebrates the rich cultural diversity of Ladysmith and its surrounding areas.
