Little girl raped by mother’s boyfriend

A 48-year-old Ladysmith man has been arrested by police for the alleged rape of a little girl.

The man allegedly raped his girlfriend’s five-year-old daughter. The alleged sexual assault occurred at the child’s home on Monday, November 18.

The mother arrived home to find her daughter unwell and after questioning her, she realised the girl had been sexually assaulted.

The man was arrested and has been held in police custody since his arrest.

The name of the man is known to the Ladysmith Gazette. He has not been named to protect his children and the woman’s children.

The man is currently in court attempting to get bail.
