Crèche pupils spread the Christmas cheer
Shoppers at Newcastle Mall were treated to an endearing performance from Grade R pupils today.
Twenty Grade R pupils from the Indumiso Crechè in Madadeni, were taken to the Newcastle Mall to entertain shoppers with some song and dance, and to spread some Christmas Cheer.
The project, sponsored by Khulisa Social Solutions, aimed to treat the children to a day out and gave them a chance to show off their well rehearsed routines.
Dressed in uniforms, the girls and boys sang and danced. A large audience quickly gathered, applauding the little performers.
After the show, the children were treated to lunch at KFC. Paul Bushell, from Khulisa, thanked the Newcastle Mall and KFC for the treat.
