EDUCATING THE YOUTH

While others celebrated Valentine’s Day by competing in beauty pageants and other competitions, Mpathe Clinic dedicated their one hour to educating the public about the importance of protecting oneself and others from sexual diseases. Staff nurses, community care-givers and the clinic committee demonstrated their message in a form of a play about some of the myths people follow, and practices that can lead to one being infected with HIV/Aids. It was a well-dedicated one hour of sharing vital knowledge about the reality of HIV/Aids, sexually transmitted diseases and teenage pregnancy.
