Treverton Prep’s Sports Co-ordinator Div Bebb has just completed his 25th Midmar Mile this weekend.
Over the years, he has encouraged Prep pupils and fellow staff members to compete in the event.
While his daughters were at Treverton, he also had the pleasure in seeing them swim and complete the event. This year, seven Prep learners completed the mile.
Four pupils swam their first Midmar Mile, Selby Dixon, Luthando Ndawo, Luke Doyle and Jess Caldecott and Selby achieved the school’s best time of 39 minutes.
Beth van Onselen swam for the second time and Grace George for the third time, while Kyla Gogle was the veteran pupil swimmer, swimming her sixth mile.
