
Judy Sayed’s passion for people and love for her job has reaped her rewards and had brought pride to Dundee Provincial Hospital in the process.
Mrs Sayed, a Case Manager at the hospital, was recognised as CMASA’s Case Manager of the Year for 2014.
CMASA (Case Management Association of South Africa) assists with the support and development of the profession of Case Management in South Africa.
Case Managers provide an array of services to assist individuals and families cope with complicated health or medical situations in the most effective way possible. They work on behalf of the patients to ensure they receive quality health care.
Stationed at the Dundee Provincial Hospital since 1994. For the past twenty years she has been providing assisting patients with quality health care and it has finally paid off.
The demands and pressures of the job also haven’t weighed down Mrs Sayed. “If you love people and want the best for them then there’s nothing hard about the job, she said.” Despite the resources of working in a smaller hospital, Mrs Sayed proved that anything is possible. “With God all things are possible, you just have to trust in him and follow your dream.”
