The suspect attempted to a rape a victim on January 7 in the Pomeroy area. He suspect grabbed the victim by her neck and kicked her causing her to fall. He then threatened the victim with a knife and attempted to rape her, however she managed to escape. The matter was reported at Nhlanhleni police station for further investigation.
