AACL thanks you for the support
There are many dogs of all shapes and sizes to suit any family, so please visit the kennels and help save a life
The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) held their annual Dog-A-Thon on Saturday afternoon at Egerton’s Agar Field. Residents turned up in the dozens to show their support for this good cause. The AACL would like to thank ABI, all the sponsors and the public for their support.
The league would also like to thank Mr Booysen, Mr Foxcroft, Pierre Massyn, Spar, LHS, as well as Mr Hoosen, Mr Perumal and Mrs Ramsunder from Nedbank for their kind donations.
The league is appealing to the public to please donate blankets! The weather is getting nippy and the animals also get cold. A steel stationery cabinet is also needed, so an appeal is made for someone to drop one off at the kennels.
There are many pets in desperate need of good homes. There is currently a spayed female German Shepherd cross named ‘Sheba’ who does very well with children, but cannot be around other pets. This breed is naturally very protective, so if you give her love and treat her like a family member, she is sure to look after you. There is one female puppy left from the Boerboel crossbreed litter who needs a home.
