Sarel Cilliers learners showed that it’s not all about brawn on the field, but also brains off the field…
The leading position in the WESSA Quizz was taken by the Sarel Cilliers team. The atmosphere was tense as learners took up their positions. The WESSA Quiz was hosted by Dundee High and started on a promising note. Sarel Cilliers’ Team C was in the lead from the onset, much to the delight of organising educator Mrs Y Ramdutt.

The first half looked good for Sarel as positions one and three were filled by the enthusiastic learners of Team A and Team C.
Sarel Cilliers managed to scoop positions one and three at the end of the quiz. Dundee High’s Team B took second position, after they were beaten by Sarel Cilliers by a long margin.

The two winning schools will now compete in Pietermaritzburg next term. Congratulations to all the teams that were selected. Watch this space for more fantastic news from Sarel Cilliers…
