Hattingspruit Library gets a bookish boost

Rotary brings hope back to the Hattingspruit Library.

Tears of joy poured down librarian June Zietsman’s face after she received a bakkie-load of books from Rotary.
Aunty June, as she is affectionately known, has always given back to the community through her actions and words. A kind soul who is always there for others, things looked bleak for Aunty June when the municipality removed the majority of the books from the library due to a technicality.
“God bless you all. There are no words to describe how I feel,” said Aunty June.
Ken dropped off a van load full of books at the library, a mountainous pile that is sure to provide riveting reading for many generations to come.
Ken also thanked Michele Fleischman from the Dundee Book Exchange for her donation of books.
