Jonathan’s rise to the top
Jonathan continues to bowl over coaches with his talent.
Jonathan Benjamin continues to fly the towns’ flag high and make a name for himself on the sporting field.
Jonathan has already received his KZN Colours in Cricket and Athletics but isn’t stopping there. For the past two years Jonathan has represented the KZN Inland Cricket Union at national cricket weeks at U/15 and U/17 levels. This year he was chosen for the KZN Inland Cricket Union’s U/19 winter training squad. His talent has seen him also get selected for the Dolphin’s U/17 talent identification program. Jonathan also was selected for the KZN Inland camp where he impressed the Cricket South Africa talent scout.
Jonathan will now attend a Dolphin’s talent camp at Kingsmead, Durban on July 15 and 16 where he’ll get a chance to impress the scout and national head coach at the camp. If he does, he’ll move on to a national talent camp later this year.
