One of the suspects in the farm attack along the N11 has been caught, according to police. It is alleged that three suspects entered the farmhouse and attacked a female inside the house. The woman was allegedly held at knife-point and sustained slight injuries in the attack (bruising). She was treated on scene by Sharaj Ambulance Services for her injuries, as well as for shock.

Police expect to make more arrests within hours.

No shots were fired, as previously reported.

Heavily-armed Tactical Response Team (TRT), Dog Unit (K9), Elandslaagte police officers and farmers in the area responded and helped in the search.  The CIG (Crime Intelligence Gathering Unit) has joined in the hunt.
