Breaker sparks power outage
Technicians are hard at work to restore the power, after a network breaker tripped in the early hours of the morning.
Residents living in Arbor Park, the CBD and businesses in the industrial area are currently without power.
Just after 3am this morning, a 132kV network breaker tripped, cutting power to the main line that feeds the affected areas.
“We have a team on site currently who are investigating the root cause of the problem and attempting to restore power,” said Lindile Zincume, SED for Technical Services Electrical.
