Congratulations to Alwande Mkhize in Grade 6, who received the incredible news that her entry, ‘Children need to be safe enough to play in parks that are neat and well looked after’, won a prize in the national Santam Art Competition. Alwande’s artwork will be included in Santam’s website calendar for 2015. Ichthus is very happy for Alwande, and honours God for the special art talent that He bestowed on her.
Ichthus learners are hard at work practising for their school production, ‘Ben-Hur’. Ichthus cordially invites everyone to attend the show. ‘Ben-Hur’ will be staged in the school hall and tickets will cost R40 per adult and R10 per child.
