ML Sultan Colenso Primary’s Dancing Pencils Club participated in the Umsinsi Press Book Launch held in Durban on September 7.
Umsinsi Press is the vehicle for printing the works of writers of the Dancing Pencils literary project. The Dancing Pencils initiative unearths, nurtures and grows the talent in a writer.
Under the mentorship of Miss Jamal, who has continuously been encouraging these young children to use their creativity and writing skills to write their own stories, the Dancing Pencils Club has now published their third successive storybook.
Well done to these pupils and their teacher on this outstanding accomplishment. The school certainly expects even greater things from these young and budding writers in the future.
