Breaking old habits, pupils from Newcastle Senior Primary School travelled to Greystone Camp recently for the annual Grade 6 tour.
Pupils visited the reptile centre near Winterton where they were lucky enough to interact with creepy crawlies and slimy snakes. Some of the pupils were even brave enough to hold the weird and wonderful creatures.
The pupils later visited Talana Museum and Fort Durnford for a highly educational tour. The trip to the Glamosa Glass Factory and a diary farm was just as entertaining and educational.
The last stop on their eventful tour was the waterfalls in the Drakensberg mountains where they went on an energetic hike.
Thank you to Mr Delport, Mr Spies and Miss Parboo for organising such an exciting tour and for driving the pupils there and back safely.
