Four grade six learners at Treverton Prep have proved that they are promising young mathematicians. They recently participated in the “Living Maths” Mathematics Olympiad. It is written both in South Africa and internationally.

Matthew Dahl and Noah Ingham achieved the prestigious platinum certificate. This award recognises that they scored more than one hundred percent by answering all the required questions, and also a selection of “bonus” questions.

Only girl, Emily Wyatt-Minter daughter of the head of Mathematics at the College, proved that it is in the DNA when she was awarded a gold certificate, her achievement was matched by all-round sportsman Matthew Smith, proving he is multi-talented.
