Inkanyezi Special School toured Bawas Furniture today (Wednesday, November 12). 32 special needs pupils were given a tour of the whole warehouse and shown how everything works.
The children had a hands-on experience of the working of the factory and how furniture is built. Guides from Bawas showed them the step-by-step process, from start to finish. The pupils even got their hands dirty when they all worked on building a stool for Mr Mkhize, the school principal.
After the tour was over, they all enjoyed lunch that was provided by Bawas. In addition, a gift in the form of a small mirror was given to each pupil.
