The annual Treverton College Quiz night was held recently in the College dining room. There were 135 participants this year, with three teams from Weston taking part. Each team consisted of between six and eight contestants, made up of staff and/or pupils.

Prep teachers joined in the fun, together with members of staff from different departments. There were two rounds of general knowledge questions, with 25 questions in each round. Once again, Ms Clare Botha of the College was the determined Quiz mistress and Mr Hilton Pellow-Jarman was an admirable Master of Ceremonies.

There was a range of wonderful prizes for the evening, which were organised by staff wife Rebecca Bubb. The winning team (comprised of staff representing a number of departments) with the team name “The Undecided” received R100 each and a magnificent hamper from Spar, Mooi River.
