Another burglary for Stoks System
After four burglaries during November and December, Mr van der Stok has had enough.

A business owner fed-up with continual burglaries, sat in his office at midnight on December 31, after rearming his alarm after yet another burglary hit the premises. Much to his surprise, the burglar was yet to be satisfied and returned.
Upon hearing the presence of an intruder, business owner, Pieter Van Der Stok of Stoks Systems on McKenzie Street, Dundee sprang to action. Unfortunately, the youthful burglar proved too agile and managed to evade arrest by easily climbing in and out of a 200mm by 200mm window.
After four burglaries during November and December, Mr van der Stok has had enough.
The first burglary took place on November 28, 2014. The burglar guards had been cut and the windows smashed. No goods were taken during this break-in.
The second burglary was just two days later on November 30. This time goods to the value of R20 000 were stolen. These included: headphones, USB’s, speakers, an electric bicycle and five laptops – three of which belonged to clients. Police recovered three stolen laptops and the electric bicycle and arrests were made. The case is ongoing.
The third and fourth break-ins were on New Year’s Eve – when the alarm was activated, Mr van der Stok rushed to the shop and saw that entry had been gained through a window. The burglar alarm must have scared off the thief.
