Sarel Cilliers had their annual athletics interhouse meeting on Thursday, February 5, and Friday, February 6. It was a huge success with two days of excellent performances by the pupils.
The whole school participated in at least three events. Points were calculated throughout the two days and it was a close race for points between the two houses, Maree and Cillier.
The school congratulates Pieter Viljoen (high jump) for breaking a long-standing record (1972) in the boys’ u/19 high jump reaching an exceptional 1.87m.

Sarel Cilliers’ first rugby team began the season with a friendly match against Greytown High on Friday, February 13, in preparation for the sport day on February 21.
