PRACTICALS at Landbou High School are in full swing.
Learners are gaining knowledge as they work with cattle, poultry and sheep, horses and at the piggery. Other groups work in the school gardens while some help with maintenance, conservation and waste management .
Sport: Our rugby boys played against Pionier on Wednesday. Results were as follows: First team lost 17 – 22 against Pionier’s Second team; Second team won against their Third team 26 – 5; u/15a lost 14 – 15 against their u/15b and u/14a lost against their u/14b team. As their coach, Mr Slump said, it was a great afternoon of rugby, played in a wonderful spirit of sportsmanship.
On Saturday our First team won against Vaalpark at Sarel Cilliers 90-0!
Alumni News: Lungile Gombela (Class of 2011) has just received her B.Comm Accounting degree at the University of Cape Town and she’s doing honours this year. Making Landbou proud!
