Acaciavale Primary School (APS) held their prefect induction ceremony at the school on Thursday morning.
The prefects were chosen from Grade 7 only.
All the grades seated themselves in the assembly area to see who the new student leaders would be.
The ceremony started with a prayer, followed by the school choir taking the stage, and then it was down to the formalities.
The new prefects are determined to make their school proud by setting a good example for their fellow pupils.
