3 ways to be more productive during the weekend

Weekends happen 52 times a year, so make the next one count!

When Monday morning comes round and you feel like you got nothing done on the weekend, it makes you feel depressed, doesn’t it? Especially listening to your friends and colleagues talk about their epic weekends.

But never fear because, lucky for you, weekends happen 52 times a year. So make the next one count! Here are 3 ways to become more productive over the weekend.

1- Don’t go balls-to-the-wall drinking on Friday night: Sometimes you can’t help it when you’ve had a tough week, and the gin and tonic is calling your name, but try and limit yourself to no more than three drinks. Having a two-day hangover is not the best way to spend yet another weekend.

2- Meet new people: It’s easy to get stuck in the same routine every weekend, seeing the same faces and going to the same places. Don’t be scared to introduce yourself to people outside your social circle. You could end up making a great friend or awesome contact to help you in your career.

3- Get outside: Being active can give you a ‘second wind’. Try doing something different with your friends or family.

Hope this inspires you and gets you motivated for next weekend. In the meantime, have a relaxing Sunday afternoon and evening!
