WHILE the First Team Rugby travelled all the way to Welkom to participate there against HTS, other teams played against St Dominics here at VHS.
The score for the first rugby team was 17-35 and the boys came back enriched by the experience!
Three netball teams, two hockey boys’ and two hockey girls’ teams played against St Dominics and the following results were achieved: Netball: u/15B 17 – 0; second 29 – 2 and first 30 – 5.
Girls’ hockey: u/16 6 – 0 and first 1-1; Boys’ hockey: first 2 – 2 and second 0 – 0.
The chess players beat St Dominics 4½ – 1½ games! Well played!
Rugby Week: The 28th annual VHS Nashua Rugby Week begins on April 1. Games will be played on April 1, 2 and 4. Vryheiders are reminded not to miss the opening ceremony on April 1 at 10:30am when the official Nashua parachutists will deliver the official match ball from the sky!
