A man facing charges of attempted murder has once again found himself on the wrong side of the law after he was found with dagga at the Dundee Magistrate’s Court on April 29.
Xolani Zondo, was found with 3 grams of dagga that had been smuggled in a hat while he was awaiting trial for attempted murder that was committed in the Mzomusha area.
He was sought out and brought to book by fast acting Constable Ndlela. Armed with his sharp nose, he has brought the toll for weeding out dagga users and smugglers to an impressive three in recent weeks. The other two cases were that of dagga smuggled in a loaf of bread at the Dundee Magistrates Court on March 19 and of a dagga smuggler busted in a taxi travelling to Msinga on March 26.
Communications Officer, Captain Mbense, commended Constable Ndledla for a job well done. He also remarked that, “it is clear that Constable Ndledla’s passion lies in being hands on with crime. Perhaps he should be considered for a job that is more on the ground such as being in the dog unit.”
