“I am sweet, I am tender, I am gentle, I am fair, but don’t you ever cross your limits, because I do know how to swear.”
That’s my mother’s mantra to her kids. Mothers are a dime a dozen – it really doesn’t matter what you do or say, but always think about what your mother will say if she ever found out!
That’s good advice, I believe, from my mom.
Mothers try their best to be ‘Superwoman’ by multi-tasking; performing wifely duties, parental necessities and sisterly responsibilities; and being the daughter-in-law who always keeps the peace. Indeed, the role of a mother is one to be extremely grateful for and cherished.
I love you, mom, from the bottom of my heart, the tips of my toes and the ends of my hair. Your kindness and grace has been a constant reminder of the kind of woman I would like to marry one day.
Although you sometimes don’t feel like going to work because you are still exhausted from working the day before, you still wake up each morning, put makeup on your face and always greet us with the most beautiful smile that could melt anyone’s heart. You truly are a rose that never loses its sweet fragrance and your beauty is forever in my heart.
