#LoveHasNoLabels
52 Million pageviews and counting - this heart-warming video, which has gone viral, aims to teach us that love has no labels.
Many of us judge people based on our first impression; a snap judgment—whether it’s race, age, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability. Most of us aren’t even conscious of our prejudice.
This, according to reports, is called implicit bias.
Implicit bias occurs when someone consciously rejects stereotypes and supports anti-discrimination efforts but also holds negative associations in his/her mind unconsciously.
This video of skeletons kissing and hugging and dancing in front of a crowd is going viral on social media as millions of users share the three-minute clip.
The message behind it is beautiful, and shows that true love really has no labels.
The campaign calls on everyone to open their eyes to their own bias and prejudice and work to stop it in themselves, their friends, families, and colleagues.
As they say: ‘Before anything else, we are all human’.
