Chamber assist SANBS to bleed community

In doing its share for Mandela Day, Newcastle Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Women’s Desk combined forces with South African National Blood Services (SANBS).

At Newcastle Mall, members helped SANBS staff raise awareness about the importance of donating blood.

President of NCCI, Cicilia Pieterse, said it was imperative to donate blood.

“We chose SANBS because by donating blood you can save a life.”

Mrs Pieterse encouraged the community to do their part and make a difference in the lives of those who needed it most.
