Protesters still busy setting up roadblocks

Police seem to be slowly mobilizing...

The protest seems to be about a R1 taxi price increase for Ezakheni residents. Obviously, there are different increases for the different areas, but that is one price we can confirm. Rocks and burning tyres have been placed across numerous roads in the area. Currently, we can confirm that the Roosboom route is closed and in Helpmekaar Road, protesters have started burning tyres b;locking the Tsakane area.

Police seem to be slowly mobilizing. They have however clear the Helpmekaar Road  of stones and protesters. Drivers are warned to stay clear.
