Oval-tacular races on 08-08
“Bring the coolbox for a braai and enjoy racing entertainment. Don’t forget to keep warm when the sun goes down.”
Rain, rain, stay away!
This is the sentiment of the Newcastle Oval Raceway members, ahead of the next motorsport extravaganza on August 8.
Races were washed out two weeks ago.
In announcing the revised date for racing of this weekend, organisers said gates open at 2pm with pits open for the public from 3pm and racing at 6pm.
“Gate fees are R35 for adults, R25 for pupils and R10 per car.”
Organisers promised exciting racing, including the women’s race, new drivers in the 2-litre division and the return of go-cart racers.
Fans and family alike are welcome to support the local drivers.
