Vryheid KFC adds hope

This national feeding initiative, which runs all year round, allows you to purchase ‘hope’ off the menu for just R2. What you are actually buying is a meal for a hungry child.

Staff members of the local KFC visited their local Add Hope beneficiary Inkanyiso Special School on Thursday, August 20.
Four years ago KFC launched Add Hope, a solution to filling the many hungry tummies of children in South Africa.
According to research, in South Africa, 12 million people are hungry and a staggering 3.3. million of these are children.
This national feeding initiative, which runs all year round, allows you to purchase ‘hope’ off the menu for just R2. What you are actually buying is a meal for a hungry child.
The local KFC staff members wanted to show Vryheid residents just where their R2s are going.
The principal of Inkanyiso, Mrs Shezi was very grateful to KFC as well as everyone who adds that R2 when buying a meal as this initiative has been of very great help to the school.
” As the children grow, they require a larger portion of food and we are very grateful to KFC as their donation means that these children can now get an extra scoop to their regular portions,” she said.
