September 5 at the Show Grounds. This year, organisers have invited rugby teams to take part in the Vlam Panelbeaters touch rugby tournament, where the winners can walk away R5 000 richer. Also cash in with the braai and potjie competition. Residents are invited to vote in the Newcastle Car of the Year contest, where dealerships can nominate a vehicle for top honours.
