Rocco rocks Newcastle

In support of the Global Give Back Circle (GGBC), award-winning artist, Rocco de Villiers, graced Newcastle with his presence on Friday, August 28 at St Dominic’s Academy.

The lively, colourful Mr de Villiers is a Jack of all trades of sorts, working as a pianist, producer, composer, musical director and cocktail connoisseur. He has been nominated and awarded the Huisgenoot Temp, Ghoema, SAMA and Cape theatre awards and has released 10 instrumental albums and two cocktail books.

He also wrote and produced nine instrumental stage productions. With more than 25 years of experience under his belt, the veteran entertainer treated Newcastillians to a performance seldom seen in these parts.
