Time trialists dominate Uelzen Race

Time trials was a hit at the Uelzen race held on September 6 and the trialists did exceptionally well.
The race was initially set out to be eight kilometres but proved to be longer.
A former trialist won the Men’s Race and the club’s very own Nicky Williams romped home as the first lady. Vasanthee did extremely well, even though she had not competed after two and a half years.
Naseem Cassim also had a good finish with Rikesh Thakur finishing ahead of him.
Dean with Puckree were unfortunate and took a wrong turn but still managed to finish off well.
Melody also excelled in the longer route.
Other Time Trial news
Nicky ran the four kilometres crossing in a time of 19 minutes and 8 seconds at the past trials held on September 3. Ivan ran the two kilometres in just over 13 minutes. Vasanthee and Puckree followed suite with the three kilometre event in 23 minutes. Lucy ran the three kilometre in 26 minutes and 11 seconds.
Please note time trials take place every Thursday at 5:20pm in front of Dundee Junior School, Excelsior Lane and is open to the public.
